偷了5顆糖 老翁為8元吃官司

（中央社記者管瑞平苗栗縣25日電）苗栗一名72歲老翁到超市購物，順手牽羊5顆黑糖梅，遭業者發現報警，為了價值新台幣8元觸犯竊盜罪，今天遭地檢署簡判。

家住苗栗縣公館鄉的72歲詹姓老翁日前到住家附近超市購物，涉嫌趁業者不注意，將糖果販賣區的5顆黑梅糖塞藏在衣物口袋，隨後再選購吳郭魚、蔬菜等物品，以125元結帳準備離開。

眼尖業者發現他疑似夾帶物品「闖關」，連忙追出店外質問；老翁起初否認偷竊，聲稱只是忘了拿出結帳，經店家追問，才坦承偷竊。

由於老翁先前在這家超市就曾有過順手牽羊的不良紀錄，店家見他上門總會格外注意，儘管這次夾帶的「贓物」算一算不過價值8塊錢，業者仍堅持報警。

警方指出，老翁家境還算過得去，但為了區區5顆糖觸犯竊盜罪「實在划不來」，礙於竊盜屬公訴罪，仍須依法辦理。

苗栗地檢署審酌老翁今年初才因其他竊盜案件被判緩刑2年，不知悔改，今天依犯竊盜罪嫌起訴，並向法院聲請簡易判決處刑。1030625
