日本職棒太平洋聯盟首輪季後賽11日進行第1戰，火腿6比3擊敗歐力士，陽岱鋼4打數沒安打，還吞下3次三振。

此戰火腿由大谷翔平先發，歐力士由金子千尋主投，大谷翔平球速雖快，但控球不穩，2局下被歐力士隊ESTEBAN GERMAN敲出二壘打後，連投4次保送包括2次觸身球保送，送給歐力士隊2分。

火腿隊5局上反攻，近藤健介、大野獎太連敲安打，攻得1分，6局上中田翔獲保送後，小谷野榮一、近藤健介、JUAN MIRANDA連敲安打，打回2分，歐力士隊6局下岡田貴弘、川端崇義連續安打，攻得1分，兩隊3比3平手。

金子千尋投完6局失3分退場，歐力士隊牛棚守不住，岸田護吞下敗投，大谷翔平也是投6局失3分，宮西尚生中繼0.2局、MICHAEL CROTTA投1.1局都沒失分，增井浩俊救援成功，火腿隊拿下勝利。

火腿與歐力士台北時間12日下午1時將進行第2戰，火腿再贏，即可取得向太平洋聯盟季賽第一軟銀挑戰的資格。
