【Dr說】鼻孔會越挖越大嗎？

網路傳言若常挖鼻屎，鼻孔會愈挖愈大。國泰醫院耳鼻喉科主治醫師方德詠說，人力無法使鼻孔變形，即使常挖鼻孔，也不會愈挖愈大，有此習慣者，不必擔心這問題。
 
但方德詠強調，該戒除挖鼻孔，以免細菌、病毒從鼻黏膜侵入體內；若覺得鼻屎怎麼挖都挖不完，其實可能不是空氣太髒污，而是反覆摳鼻造成受傷、結痂，掉出來的是結痂物，才誤認鼻屎量大。
 
他建議，鼻孔不必特別清理，若非清理不可，可先諮詢耳鼻喉科醫師，再使用洗鼻器，除能洗掉分泌物，還可一併沖掉鼻內過敏原，降低過敏機率。（邱俊吉／台北報導）
